Agricultural Trench Digging for Electricity Cables for SSE
In 2023 the SSE wanted to move the electricity pylons which pass directly across our farm and home. We offered to assist in the task. Using our 14 ton Hyundai Excavator we dug a trench around the edge of our property at Glebelands Farm, Drift Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire so that the current electricity cables could be buried underground safely and we could be free from danger of low hanging cables. Our team dug 540 meters of trenches approximately 1.2m wide and several feet deep so the cables could be safely redirected out of our way underground in protective pipes. during this project we had to return and back fill the trenches levelling the ground as we went. This project took about four days and four men.
